Library Special Programs

“Writers in the Housatonic Classroom” is a program devised by the Housatonic Community College Library with the purpose of bringing writers to present to the college’s literature, composition and writing classes and to interact with students. Effort is made to invite authors that represent varied backgrounds, experiences and viewpoints, as well as multiple genres (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prose and drama) and modes of organization (description, narration, analysis, argument). The program takes place each semester.
